About me!
My name is Lily Morgan, I am 18 years old and in 2022 I was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Following my diagnosis I created a project called Autism and Inclusivity within the hockey Wales community. Aiming to achieve acceptance and inclusion for all neurodiverse individuals in Sport. After presenting at the Eurohockey General Assembly in Monchengladbach in the Summer. I am now launching my brand , where I will provide information and online services for all individuals to spread awareness and aid inclusive practice in sports.
My Story
Being diagnosed with a hidden disability at 18 after my mental health was struggling, provided me with complete understanding of myself. Although I was provided with this understanding of myself, I didn't feel there was enough support and awareness around autism in females. Following this I developed a project with Hockey Wales in which aimed to develop understanding of neurodiversity within the hockey wales community. I was selecteed to present at the EuroHockey festival in which I was selected in the top 5 to go on to present at the General Assembly in Monchengladbach, Germany. I have since been developing my knowledge and have created social media platforms via Instagram and tiktok in order to spread my knowledge as far as possible. Striving to achieve acceptance and inclusion for all neurodiverse individuals in sport!

Playing Sport
I have been playing hockey since the age of 10, where I started at my local club! Since then my love for the game has continued to grow. At the start of this season I started my BUCS journey for Cardiff Met Uni L1s, as well as continuing my club journey for Cardiff & Met Hockey Club!
The coaches and club members at Cardiff & Met Hockey Club have supported me throughout my journey as I spread awareness for Neurodiverse individuals in sport
